ARIANA Grande fans will have to wear see-through bags at shows on her upcoming world tour.

The ‘Thank U, Next’ star is tightening security in the wake of the Manchester Arena suicide bombing.

Twenty-two fans, including four from the North East, died after the terror attack at her gig.

But on Instagram, the singer announced the move to try and make her gigantic upcoming tour safer.

The 25-year-old wrote: “Dear sweetener / thank u next tour audience friends, we’re sending out emails soon encouraging you to order a clear bag to bring your things into the venues as security is going to be very precise and smooth but for sure super strict.

“They’re super cheap and simple but having them ahead of time will for sure help things go as smooth as possible so if you see this in your emails please don’t ignore it!

“My team n i appreciate it very much!

p.s. any clear bags within a certain size (all info will be in the [email]) are totally fine to bring if you already have your own, i just wanted to make sure you saw these and knew about all this ahead of time so everything can go as smoothly and safely as possible. “Love you. thank you!” Salman Abedi detonated a nail-filled device as fans fled the gig on May 22 2017.

Among the victims were Liam Curry, 19 and Chloe Rutherford, 17 – both from South Shields.

Gateshead teenager Courtney Boyle, 19, was also killed, as was her mother’s boyfriend, 32-year-old Philip Tron.

Last week, ISIS bride Shamima Begum sparked anger by comparing the attack to military assaults on Syria.

“Because women and children are being killed back in the Islamic State right now and it’s kind of retaliation,” she said.

“Like, their justification was that it was retaliation so I thought ‘OK, that is a fair justification.’”

The UK leg of the Ariana Grande: Sweetener World Tour kicks off at the O2 in London on August 17.
