WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?
CELEBRITIES were on red alert this weekend, as they gathered in Paris for the Valentino Fall 2019 Fashion Show.
Crimson was a strong theme on the frow, especially dreamy dresses in deep shades of the dramatic hue, all designed by the famous Italian fashion house.
American singer and actress Janelle Monae perfected the preppy look in an A-line smock dress.
Her frock had slashed sleeves and an on-trend pussy bow neckline and was accessorised with knee-high red socks, seriously pointy shoes and a chic beret. The 33-year-old styled her hair in long braids decorated with little gold rings plaited throughout.
Elsewhere, American fashionista and entrepreneur Olivia Palermo adopted the bigger is better approach in a billowing black and red number.
The ruffled dress, made of layers of floaty fabric, had romantic appeal, and, like Janelle, the former The City reality TV star, opted for a puss bow neckline.
Her make-up consisted of a ruddy nude lip paired with smouldering black eyeliner.
Olivia completed her ensemble with chunky black boots, perfect for the Parisian winter rain.
Meanwhile, 13 Reasons Why actress, Katherine Langford, wowed in an eye-catching floaty pleated mid-length dress. She wore demure pointy shoes, accessorised with a large black bag.
The 22-year-old accentuated her emerald eyes with a vivid fuchsia eyeshadow, paired with a glossy pink pout.
She wore her brunette locks in natural-looking side-swept, beach waves.
We can’t think of one reason – let alone 13 – why we won’t be emulating Katherine’s dreamy Valentino look come spring.
