DRESSED to impress

WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?

A-LISTERS gathered in Austin, Texas for the film premiere of Booksmart at the SXSW festival.

The movie marks the feature-length directorial debut of Hollywood star Olivia Wilde, and follows the story of two over-achieving students, who decide to have one crazy night of fun, on the eve of their high school graduation.

Booksmart’s leading ladies opted for pretty frilly dresses for the premiere. Star Wars actress Billie Lourd dazzled in a monochrome gown, which had bow detailing and an asymmetric neckline.

Her outfit had a full-length sleeve, while her other arm was left bare.

Billie, 26, the daughter of Carrie Fisher, styled her brunette hair in a middle parting, tied back in a tight ponytail, and wore an eye-catching pair of orb earrings, with colourful stones embedded in them.

Meanwhile, Beautiful Boy’s Kaitlyn Dever put her best foot forward in a dainty floor-length frock. Her pink ensemble had a long train, delicate cap sleeves and a square neckline.

Kaitlyn, 22, let her outfit do the talking, choosing to accessorise with barely-there gold jewellery and natural looking make-up.

However, the woman of the hour, Olivia Wilde, was a vision in red. Her striking dress screamed 70s chic, with full-length flared sleeves, a plunging V-shaped neckline and layers of frilly lace and chiffon.

The Emmy Award-winning star accentuated her striking blue eyes with smoky red toned eyeshadow and bold black eyeliner.

She complimented her glowing skin with multiple gold necklaces and stacks of rings.

The mother-of-two celebrated her 35th birthday at the event, as well as her directorial debut.

She wore her blonde locks in tousled waves, perfectly complimenting her boho-chic attire.

There’s simply no other way to put it, we’re Wilde for Olivia’s look!
