Vue still at top despite a draw

BELLE Vue remain top of the Premier Division - but lost their 100% record when they drew 2-2 with Saltwell SC, who picked up their first point of the season.

Dylan Howourth and Lee McGill gave Belle Vue a two-goal lead but replies from Zadjo Kendjo and Meeshi Kanda earned a point for Saltwell.

Whickham Coachman made light work of a depleted Blue Star side, winning 12-0.

Alex White and Ryan Davenport both hit hat-tricks, Chris Keenan chipping in with two efforts.

Callum Moore, Danny Spoor, Andrew Davidson and an own goal completed the scoring.

Leam Lane WMC triumphed 3-0 at Birtley Hanlon thanks to a Dean Martin treble.

A1 Allerdene and Stormont Main drew 4-4.

Allerdene’s Chris Hewitt opened the scoring in the first minute, added to by strikes from Martin Summersatt, Kieran McPherson and Jamie Bowman.

Stormont’s counters came courtesy of a Sam Fraser treble and an addedtime Brandon Lawther equaliser.

In Division One, Leam Rangers are still top on goal difference after a 3-2 victory over Tudor Rose maintained their perfect start to the season.

Anthony Kew opened the scoring for Rangers but they were pegged back when Scott Dinning equalised.

Michael Mains restored Leam’s lead just before half-time, then Kew notched his second just after the break.

Scott Dinning netted his, and Tudor’s second, to set up a tense finish - but Rangers held on to take the points.

Greenside also kept up their 100% record, prevailing 3-0 at Whickham Bay Horse.

Jack Honour scored twice and Ryan Drane added the other.

Highwayman picked up their first league points of the season with a 5-2 victory against Shakespear­e.

■ KRIS Willkinson was on the mark with three goals for Heaton Meadowfiel­d in their 4-1 triumph at The Fosse in the North East Sunday League’s Premier Division.

Kevin Fairler nabbed two goals for Blucher Blue Star in their 4-3 success at the Windsor.

Paul Bell celebrated four counters for Daisy Hill East End in a 6-3 victory at Westfield Social and Benwell Sports defeated Hilheads 3-2.

In B Division, West Denton Social won 3-2 at 42nd Street, Blakelaw Social were 4-1 victors at Marlboroug­h Social and Cosy Dove drew 1-1 with Scotswood Social
