Ant and Dec wants Piers in the jungle
GEORDIE DUO REVEAL THEIR WISH LIST FOR I’M A CELEBRITY
ANT McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have revealed they want to sign Piers Morgan for I’m A Celebrity.
Rumours have been circulating over the line-up of the 2019 ITV reality show as the identity of the stars has been kept secret.
The Geordie TV presenters, both 43, have let slip who they have in mind for the snake-infested jungle this year.
Good Morning Britain host Morgan was top of their list and Dec confessed they were willing to offer up the money he wants for the gig.
However, Dec joked Piers had been trying to “wriggle out” of his pledge but he was confident they could come to an agreement.
“Piers has said he would do it for a certain amount of money, which I think we could meet, but he keeps on wriggling out of it,” Dec said via video link at the Royal Television Society conference in Cambridge.
“We have a list we get every year and we add to it and subtract from it.”
The Saturday Night Takeaway presenters also shared other names on their top-secret list.
These included the chroniclelive.co.uk likes of Richard Madeley, radio DJ Tim Westwood and ex-England football star Alan Shearer.
Dec added: “On our list at the moment, one person we are tracking down this year is Richard Madeley.” Ant also mentioned some big names they had their eyes on.
He said: “Tim Westwood. I would like to see that. Alan Shearer, the list is endless.”
Paul Hollywood’s ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam, Alan Halsall and Jacqueline Jossa have been among the people tipped for this year’s show. Ant had to take a break from his usual presenting role alongside Dec last year and This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby jetted off to Australia for the threeweek presenting gig. I’m A Celebrity...
