POEM OF THE DAY

Now is the time

-

AW of Gosforth has apparently done a mini survey of “Brexititiers asking what EU laws they didn’t like, and found amusement in their “floundering” (Feedback September 26).

Well all I can say is that you’re not asking the right people mate.

As of 2017 the Federalist EU has bombarded the UK with 52,741 laws, as to name the bad ones, well Tolstoy would have his work cut out there.

However, I will offer you three stinkers straight away,

The (EAW) or the European Arrest Warrant; this breaks with sovereign state control over extradition.

The (CFP) the Common Fisheries Policy; well ask the people of Grimsby about that, it has decimated the UKs fishing industry.

The Maastricht Treaty 1992 which finalised Freedom of Movement, leading to the Now is the time, for night shift Our factories must get into action Before it’s too late

Other countries are moving This country is not moving

It is slow, and old factories Need help to modernize

And get new machines

And train up the workers

Now is the time, to go To be full on

We can do it

We can be in revolution If the germans can do it We can do it

If europe can do it We can do it,

If america and japan

problems of mass immigration we see today.

So I say to EU lovers like AW come post-Brexit, I’m sure thousands of readers would donate to your one-way tickets to Europe where you can all Can do it, we can do it If other nations Can do it, we can do it

Now is the time

To put factories into Day and nigh shift To get the economy Moving

Now is the time

For big change

And to change

The pace and pay Now is the time

To think different And get the economy Moving and be positive

KENNETH MOOD

“live the dream” and the UK, unshackled from the Staliniststyled dictatorship, can make its way trading with the rest of the world as a sovereign nation! Roll on Brexit
