Fundraiser is furry fun for all the family

-

IT’S only days away until our Family Fundraiser at Our Benton Shelter. Join us this Sunday from 11am until 3pm for fun, challenges and games. There’s nothing better than having fun while helping us to raise funds to care for our animals.

We aren’t inviting your furry friends to this one as we think they may get a little excited. Entry is £1 for adults but kids are free. Come along and see what you can get involved with. We would recommend wrapping up and bringing a spare change of clothes because things could get muddy!

Just when you thought the event couldn’t get any better, on Sunday our coffee shop Pawfect Cuppa will be open too. Come up for a tea, coffee or even a speciality coffee. We will also have cold drinks as well as some amazing cakes, and savoury treats, and we’ll even have sandwiches made fresh when you order.

We know there are many of you who love our annual Hallowe’en party, which is happening on Saturday, October 26. Come down to our Benton shelter for 1.30pm and enjoy a full two hours of creepy fun.

Haunted house, games, tombola, tuck shop and a fancy dress competition. This is a free event so why not pop along with the kids? Pawfect Cuppa will be open for drinks and snacks.

One final important date for your diary is for our Christmas Market at Benton North Farm on Thursday, November 28. Following on from the success of our previous markets, we are very excited for this one, which is lining up to be the best one yet. We will be open from 3pm until 8pm for some festive celebrations.

Animals for homes:

Basil and Manuel, cat numbers 88 and 90 respectively, are approximately two to three years old and they arrived with us in June. They are two very shy boys who can be unsure of strangers and new places. Basil and Manuel are looking for an experienced home where they can live together with someone who has lots of time and patience to allow them to grow and come out of their shells. Charlie and Emma, cat numbers 118 and 119 respectively, are approximately four or five years old and arrived with us in July. They are looking for a loving forever home where they can go together to live as a pair.

Both girls can be a little shy but gain a lot of confidence from one another. Charlie and Emma can be wary so they are looking for a quiet home with an understanding owner and without other animals.

For further information about any of our animals, call our reception team on 0191 215 0435 or pop in to our Benton shelter between 1pm and 6pm.
