BELLE Vue regained top spot in the Premier Division with a 6-1 win at Stormont Main.

Lee Mole hit a hat-trick alongside strikes from Lee McGill, John Dewhurst and Dan Nesbitt.

Thomas Wilson moved up to third after an eleven-goal clash against Birtley The Hanlon.

The Birtley side were in front for most of the game and even led 5-2 at one stage thanks to two goals each from Adam Berry and Callum Turnbull and one from Lewis Smith.

The Wilson’s early counters came from Ben Sanderson and Jack Mitchell before their dramatic comeback.

Ricky Fenwick scored four secondhalf goals to seal a 6-5 victory including a last-minute winner.

A1 Allerdene picked up their first league victory of the season with a 7-1 result against Blue Star.

Allerdene were awarded an early penalty dispatched by Kieran McPherson before Chris Hewitt made it 2-0.

Blue Star pulled one back through Adam Gibson but Michael Kelly restored Allerdene’s two-goal advantage just before half-time.

After the break, Hewitt nabbed his second before Jamie Bowman added his name to the scoresheet to make it 5-1.

Allerdene substitute Lewis Morris netted with his first touch of the ball for 6-1 and there was still time for Hewitt to complete his hat-trick when he chipped the ball over the goalkeeper from the edge of the area.

In Division One, Greenside made it eight wins from eight with a 9-2 success against Shakespear­e.

Lewy Teasdale smashed six of Greenside’s efforts, Liam Thear bagging a brace and Robbie Williamson the other goal.

Shakespear­e’s replies came from Gary Lindsey and David Brownlee.

Leam Rangers moved into second with a 13-0 demolition of Tudor Rose.

Anthony Kew notched four, including two from the spot, Michael Mains and Callum McPherson trebles and David Kerr, Scott Watson and Lee Turnbull one apiece.
