Make the most of your hidden treasures through Featonby’s online auctions

THE NORTH SHIELDS AUCTION HOUSE IS LOOKING FOR QUALITY ITEMS FOR ITS SALES

-

THE lockdown has given many of us the chance to work on our homes and rediscover items we might have forgotten about. Boxes left for years in the attic, or in the garage, might contain some hidden gems that could have some real value to them, which is where Featonby’s can help.

This long-established North Shields auction house holds weekly online auctions every Thursday at 10am, which attract bidders from around the world. David Haley, director at Featonby’s, said: “With people having a lot of time at the moment, we’re asking if you might have found some hidden treasures in your attic, or in your garage, that you might like to sell through us.

“We can come round to your home to do contactless collection of items to assess the value for you and, for items such as war medals, we can also look into the history of them so we can provide back-up information”.

While the company has a particular interest in items such as Royal Worcester and luxury watches, they will consider any items of value that people wish to sell.

The company’s online auctions are partnered with thesaleroom.com and EasyLiveAuction.com.
