Firm’s offer of play-off PPE to Tynesiders

-

GATESHEAD Football Club have partnered with cleaning supplier UK Commercial Group ahead of the upcoming Vanarama National League North play-offs.

UK Commercial Group, based on the Team Valley, are a national supplier who offer commercial cleaning services, specialist maintenance and cleaning equipment across England, Scotland and Wales.

With the club’s intention to compete in the play-offs comes the need for PPE in line with government guidelines for returning to elite sport – at no small cost to all clubs at non-league level.

UK Commercial Group have donated a wide range of PPE for the Tynesiders to use, which will be available upon their return to training ahead of the first play-off fixture in late July.

“We are immensely grateful for the kind donation of PPE from UK

Commercial Group,” said Heed chairman Neil Pinkerton.

“This highlights the strong bond between the football club and the community, when a local business such as UK Commercial Group steps up to help the club during these unprecedented times.

“We’re incredibly thankful to UK Commercial Group, and managing director Tony Earnshaw, for reaching out to offer their equipment to the club as we look towards the play-off fixtures.”

“We were lucky to get the opportunity to support one of our local clubs,” added Mr Earnshaw.

“We have been very active in the crisis, decontaminating against the illness all over the country.

“Bringing our resource back home to support our community is special, and we are proud partners to help keep the community safe.”
