RIVAL delivery drivers have been caught on camera fighting following a crash in Newcastle city centre.

Footage was recorded by a driver who witnessed the motorcycle crash on the junction of Newgate Street and Percy Street at about 6.50pm on Monday.

In the video, a Deliveroo driver and another takeaway driver can be seen in the middle of Gallowgate embroiled in a scuffle.

Then the Deliveroo driver, who is wearing a helmet, can be seen throwing a punch before the other man attempts to wrestle his opposite number to the floor.

Angry drivers can be heard beeping their horns in an attempt the break up the fight with traffic being held up at the busy junction.

With their motorcycles laid in the road, the pair remain in a brawl with the Deliveroo employee seen swinging a punch at the end of the clip.
