Police break up rave

MORE than 100 revellers at an illegal rave have been issued with £200 fines after it was broken up by police.

Officers were pelted with missiles by some of those present at a disused warehouse in the Digbeth area of Birmingham.

Bottles were thrown at police as they had to force their way into the rave in Bordesley Street, close to the city centre, at about 9pm on Saturday.
