IT’LL BE ALRIGHT ON THE NIGHT

DAVID WALLIAMS returns with the iconic show to present a compilation of TV clangers. Thankfully, there isn’t any old footage tonight, as the clips are taken from the programmes broadcast over the past year.
There are live on-air blunders from Stormzy, Robbie Williams, Craig Revel Horwood, Jonathan Ross and Ant and Dec, as well as a series of outtakes starring will.iam and Jeremy Clarkson.
GARY BARLOW’S NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

EARLIER this year, Gary received global recognition for his The Crooner Sessions series which featured the singer
performing online alongside other artists.
Now, ITV has commissioned this one-off music special held in the splendid setting of London’s iconic Natural History Museum. It will see the award-winning songwriter accompanied by an orchestra and performing new music from his latest album, as well as some of his greatest hits.
Gary will be joined by guests including Michael Bublé, Alesha Dixon, Beverley Knight, Jack Whitehall, Alfie Boe, Rick Astley and Ronan Keating.
THE VICAR OF DIBLEY IN LOCKDOWN

GERALDINE GRAINGER is the gift that keeps on giving. Only two series of the sitcom were ever made, but Dawn French has returned to the role numerous times over the years. Now she’s back again in the first of three special Christmas-themed 10-minute sermons, which are being broadcast after classic episodes of the original show.
Each one will see her offering words of wisdom with assistance from Hugo Horton (James Fleet) and local schoolchildren.
THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE

THE annual charity fundraising shindig took place on November 29 at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens but it all looked rather different thanks to coronavirus restrictions. But, as ever, it attracted a stellar line-up.
Among those featured are Captain Sir Tom Moore, who broadcasts his performance of the chart-topping You’ll Never Walk Alone from his home, accompanied by Michael Ball and the NHS choir. Look out too for Steps, Melanie C and Stephen Mulhern. Jason Manford hosts.
MOBO AWARDS 2020
Wednesday, BBC1, regions vary
THE MOBO Awards were last held in 2017 in Leeds. It was
hoped that the awards show would return to London’s SSE Arena Wembley in November 2020, with organisers promising “more determination and energy” than ever before. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event has had to be scaled back again.
Nevertheless, the awards show, which celebrates music of black origin from across the globe, is going ahead tonight, and the evening is still likely to feature some of the world’s biggest artists.
DEATH ROW’S WOMEN WITH SUSANNA REID
Thursday, ITV, 9pm
SUSANNA REID travels to Texas to meet Darlie Routier, a Dallas housewife and former
cheerleader who is on Death Row.
In 1996, Darlie’s two young sons were stabbed and killed in her home. She claimed it was the work of an intruder, but she was subsequently convicted and sentenced to death by lethal injection for the murder of one of the boys and remains accused of killing the other. There were no eye-witnesses or motive, and Darlie has always protested her innocence.
JO BRAND’S HOW TO STAY SANE IN A MAD WORLD

BEFORE she became a comedian, Jo Brand spent 10 years working as a psychiatric nurse. So, if anyone knows the importance of looking after our mental health as well as our physical wellbeing during the pandemic, it’s her.
Here, she’s sharing her A-Z guide on the best ways to keep mentally strong during what has been a very stressful time. To prevent Jo herself getting too stressed out, there will also be a few other famous faces sharing their advice.
