Murderer hurled abuse at police as he was arrested

-

SAVAGE killer Paul Robson showed his true colours in an aggressive outburst at police as they arrested him for murder.

Despite being accused of the most serious of crimes, coldblooded Robson was more concerned about the fact police had seized his glasses and wouldn’t return them.

He had been arrested in Scotland for murdering Caroline Kayll at her home in Linton, Northumberland, and attempting to murder her 15-year-old lover, a relationship which had sent him into a fury.

In a foul-mouthed tirade to police on November 21, he tells an officer trying to handcuff him: “Put your hands on me and I’ll put me hands on you”.

He demands to speak to a sergeant, says he can barely see without his glasses and claims he is “not being looked after”.

He also tells an officer not to “get lippy with me” and when he is handcuffed he complains they are “f ****** sore” before he is told that he is being arrested.

Even as the allegations of murder and attempted murder out read to him, he continues to swear, saying: “Look at this c***”.

His demeanour is in stark contrast to his presentation in front of the jury, when he tried to hide his fiery temper.

But jurors saw through the facade and convicted him of blackmailing Caroline and murdering her and her home last November

He was also convicted of attempting to murder the teenager, who was with her at the time.

Robson, 50, of Stanley Street, Howdon, Wallsend, who tried to blame the schoolboy, is facing a life sentence.
