TV PICKS OF THE WEEK
THE MASKED SINGER Tonight, ITV, 7pm
Singers Will Young and Heather Small, and veteran broadcaster Gloria Hunniford were unmasked early doors this year, but which of the eight remaining singers will be ordered to “take it off” tonight?
Judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan think they know the identities of the celebrities performing inside the elaborate costumes. But are their occasionally left-field guesses wide of the mark? After the votes are counted, the fifth famous face is unmasked and eliminated. Host Joel Dommett attempts to keep order.
THE GOOD KARMA HOSPITAL Tomorrow, ITV, 8pm
The medical drama is back for its fourth series. Although set in southern India, filming took place in Sri Lanka, a little later than originally planned due to lockdown.
It begins as a deadly virus sweeps through the area – but not the one you might expect. Instead it’s the highly contagious Nipah causing all the trouble, and against her better judgement, Lydia is forced to admit a girl who has it. At least the patient gives new doctor Samir Hasan a chance to show what he’s made of. Amanda Redman stars.
I, SNIPER: THE WASHINGTON KILLERS Monday, Channel 4, 10pm
You may have never heard the name Lee Malvo, but that will have changed by the time the credits roll on the finale of this six-part documentary series, exploring one of the most terrifying crimes in recent history.
It documents, minute by minute, how a chance meeting between a vulnerable Jamaican teenager and a disaffected Army veteran set in motion a murderous road trip and, why a chain of events led them to commit unthinkable acts of violence. It includes testimony from victims, survivors, families and investigators, as well as Malvo, the surviving shooter, in a
series of phone calls.
SECRETS OF THE KRAYS Tuesday, ITV, regions vary
If you’re a BritBox subscriber, you may already have seen this three-part documentary.
It was the streaming service’s first factual commission and was made available last May. Its makers promise an in-depth insight into the twins’ rise to notoriety during a decade in which Britain was undergoing a seismic change. Those who knew them, including family members, prison guards and fellow gangsters, discuss the duo, their lives, relationships and downfall.
FINAL ACCOUNT: STORYVILLE Wednesday, BBC Four, 10pm
British filmmaker Luke Holland’s portrait of the last living generation of Hitler’s Third Reich.
Before he died in June 2020,
Holland captured over 250 interviews with octogenarian and nonagenarian Austrians and Germans. There are men and women from all walks of life, some of whom became SS members, Wehrmacht fighters, concentration camp guards or silent civilian witnesses. The footage raises questions about authority, conformity and national identity, and shows how people can be swept up in events when they are unaware of the ramifications.
Thursday, BBC1, 8pm
Steven Bartlett has certainly made his presence felt since becoming the programme’s youngest-ever Dragon. The entrepreneur has shown no respect for his elders, regularly disagreeing with fellow would-be investors and clearly loving every second of it.
This time, Bartlett may have found a kindred spirit in a young Liverpudlian who has created an eco-friendly disinfectant.
WOULD I LIE TO YOU? Friday, BBC1, 8pm

Rob Brydon hosts, alongside team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack.
