ADELE: 30 GREATEST MOMENTS Tonight, Channel 5, 8pm
From record-breaking songs, emotional performances, and personal highs and lows, this programme celebrates the life and career of Adele. It counts down the singer’s top 30 moments, going back to when the Tottenham teenager first burst onto the scene and captured our hearts in 2008.
The two-hour programme is packed full of interviews with those who know her from the early days to more recent times. It also visits some of the key places in Adele’s life, from her old school to the studios in which she’s recorded her hit albums.
PAUL HOLLYWOOD EATS MEXICO Tomorrow, Channel 4, 9pm
The Great British Bake Off judge is leaving the tent and heading to Mexico for a new culinary adventure.
Paul will travel to the American border in Tijuana and the Caribbean coast in Cancun, but he begins his journey in the country’s sprawling capital, Mexico City, which is home to 21 million people and some seriously good food. He gets off to a mouth
watering start when he tries the best taco he’s ever had, but he also discovers why most of the Mexican food we get in the UK is really the Americanised version known as Tex Mex.
AIDS: THE UNHEARD TAPES Monday, BBC2, 9pm
If you’ve already seen the first two episodes of this documentary, you’ll be well aware of what a stunning and vitally important work it is – not to mention incredibly moving. The final edition begins as a new wave of
hope hits those who are HIV positive thanks to trials of a new drug which its makers believe will prolong the lives of those taking it. But optimism is soon smashed by severe, debilitating side effects that cause severe sickness in some patients. Infections are also rising outside the gay community, while stigma and fear continue to raise
their ugly heads.
BRITAIN’S TRAVEL CHAOS: HOW TO SAVE YOUR SUMMER

not just people who are planning to jet off this summer who are worried about their holidays. There are also rail strikes, ferry cancellations, roadworks and rising petrol prices to contend with. For anyone who’s wondering if they’d be better off just staying at home, this documentary offers top tips from travel experts on how to avoid the chaos.
MO FARAH: MY UNTOLD STORY Wednesday, BBC1, 9pm
It’s now 10 years since Mo Farah won two gold medals at the London 2012 Olympics, securing his place as a household name. He subsequently picked up a knighthood to add to his
list of accolades. However, it seems that there is still a lot we don’t know about Mo and his life.
In this powerful documentary, he reveals the shocking truth about his childhood, and opens up about the journey he made from Somaliland to the UK as a boy.
OUR GREAT YORKSHIRE LIFE Thursday, Channel 5, 7pm
Rob and Dave Nicholson have a day off from the family farm at Cannon Hall and travel to the southern Pennines. The brothers have become beekeepers and their insects are hopefully making a unique honey from the heather
pollen. If all goes to plan, the lads will bring the honey-filled hives back to Barnsley.
In Malton, Tom Naylor-Leyland faces up to his biggest challenge of the year, as he organises an event designed to make the market town the ‘Food Capital of Yorkshire’.
BBC PROMS: FIRST NIGHT OF THE PROMS Friday, BBC2, 7.15pm
After two years of rejigged events due to pandemic regulations, The Proms are back to normal. That means that during the next eight weeks, international orchestras will be gracing the stage, including Berliner Philharmoniker, the Philadelphia Orchestra, Australian World Orchestra and, most notably, the newly formed Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra. Eighty-four concerts in all will take place, with 73 of them at the Royal Albert Hall. They get under way tonight with Verdi’s Requiem.
