The ninth Evolution Emerging Festival in Newcastle will see over 40 of the finest musical artists the region has to offer take to the stage across multiple venues in the Ouseburn Valley today. The event this weekend is renowned for being the North East’s biggest festival for new music and it annually presents its best talent hosted in some of the city’s coolest independent music haunts, including The Cluny, Cluny 2, The Tyne Bar, Cobalt, The Cumberland Arms, The Tanners, Little Buildings, and Ernest.
