I AM looking to find out when my great-great grandmother, Mary Ann Bambrough died. She was born in Greenock, Renfrewshire, in 1846 and died between 1905 and 1910.

Her parents, John Barker and Elizabeth Steen, were born in Stoke on Trent and moved to Greenock in 1845 where they married. Mary Ann married William Robert Bell in 1866 in Newcastle and was widowed in 1873. In 1875 she married widower John Bambrough and had three children.

One of her sons was named Joseph Foster Bambrough, he died in 1944 and his wife Elizabeth (nee McCardle) died in 1954. They had six children.
