Follow the yellow brick road from Tuesday when the Newcastle theatre is transformed into the Emerald City for this musical adaptation of the enduring family film favourite. The cast of Newcastle Upon Tyne Musical Theatre Company promises to take audiences on a magical journey from Kansas to that fairytale world peopled by Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and lots of Munchkins. Of course heroine Dorothy and her new-found pals have to deal with the Wicked Witch of the West along the way but, as we all know, she has those ruby slippers to help her when the going gets tough.
