Police appeal for missing 50-year-old

POLICE are searching for a North Shields man last seen on Wednesday.

Steven Patterson, 50, was last seen at his home on Waterville Road last week and police have appealed for help to find him.

Steven, pictured, is white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build, with receding grey and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue or black tracksuit top, black Adidas tracksuits bottoms and blue and white trainers.

Steven’s family are concerned for his welfare, and officers are carrying out enquiries to locate him.

Northumbria Police said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101, quoting reference number 698 of 20/07/17.”
