More traffic chaos as road closes

THE Killingworth Road closure is, in my opinion, much needed to improve the flow of traffic. I am a long-suffering motorist who has had the misfortune to need to use this route for years so welcomed the plans to upgrade the junction.

But having tried to use the new Four Lane Ends route, and found it marginally better, I was absolutely amazed to find that, without warning, bus lanes have now appeared on this route with resulting chaos. Are the people planning this having a laugh or are they just plain daft? SM, Cramlington
