Don’t succumb to student blocks

CHRIS ROBINSON , Gosforth I READ the recent article which mentioned the Newcastle Magistrates’ Court moving in the future down to the Law Courts on the Quayside.

When this building is demolished it would become a prime site for redevelopment.

At this point can I make a heartfelt plea of please, please do not succumb to the usual decision of yet more university student accommodation blocks as I feel Newcastle city inhabitants’ patience on this matter is at saturation point.
