Who is Dennis Wise..?

A PLAYER, manager and former executive director of football at St James’ Park.

In a 20-year career, he played for Wimbledon, Chelsea, Leicester, Millwall, Southampton and Coventry. He was known for tough-tackling and aggressive play.

Wise played for Wimbledon during the ‘Crazy Gang’ era, alongside Vinnie Jones, John Fashanu and Lawrie Sanchez. As well as winning the FA Cup in 1988, the team were known for their practical joke culture.

I’m A Celebrity… returns for a seventeenth series on Sunday on ITV at 9pm.

Ant and Dec will return to host the series, with Joe Swash, Scarlett Moffatt and Joel Dommett hosting spin-off show Extra Camp.

Other celebrities believed to be entering the jungle as contestants include The Saturdays singer Vanessa White, boxer Amir Khan and Boris Johnson’s dad, Stanley.
