Neon de-light as Bilton Hall pair get back on winning trail

Bilton Hall duo Nicky Sanderson (left) and Ewan Mackenzie (below) were in winning form on their home show Wallsend ABC. The bout was three rounds of all-out action. Choudry started well, scoring with fast jabs and clubbing right hands, but Walsh came back with welltimed hard uppercuts. Both boxers gave it their all to the final bell and it was hard to split them but it was Walsh’s cleaner punches which earned him the judges’ points verdict. Nicky Sanderson is out again when he takes on a Scottish opponent at The Park Hotel, Tynemouth on Thursday. Sanderson has now had eight bouts and won seven of them.
