We’re hoping the North East gets behind us and supports again this year as all fundraising will be supporting local children with disabilities. A small gift of £2 will make a huge difference to the appeal so please do get in touch to register your interest! You can reach me at lauren.thompson@trinitymirror.com or 0191 201 6090.”

Dave Robinson, a teacher at Hadrian School, added: “The new playground will give our children a stimulating and exciting place to play. The new equipment will give our children the opportunity to develop their physical and social skills on a daily basis.”
