CH­ESTER-LE-STREET Town’s home match was post­poned - as were all the fix­tures in the North East Women’s Re­gional League’s North­ern Di­vi­sion.

The win moves the Cleve­landers above Wallsend BCL and Tynedale into third place be­hind Nor­ton and Stock­ton An­cients and lead­ers Durham Ces­tria. ■■SUN­DAY sees New­cas­tle United again in cup ac­tion.

They travel to Hull City in the sec­ond round of the FAWPL Plate.

In the NERWFL Premier Di­vi­sion, lead­ers Durham Ces­tria host Fars­ley Celtic, Wallsend BCL en­ter­tain Hartle­pool United and Tynedale visit York City.

In the North­ern Di­vi­sion, Teesside out­fit Boro Rangers aim to close the gap on lead­ers South Shields when they wel­come Blyth. ■■THE semi-fi­nals of the Bluefin Sport In­sur­ance NFA Women’s Cup will be held on Sun­day, Fe­bru­ary 18 (1.30).

New­cas­tle United Re­serves will host Al­nwick Town while the se­nior Lady Mags will be at home to Blyth Lions.
