THE BRITS ARE COMING Today, ITV, 5.45pm

EMMA WILLIS launches the traditiona­l run-up to the annual music awards ceremony with a live show announcing the 2018 nomination­s. The programme features performanc­es by a selection of celebrated British recording artists, including Liam Payne, Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit and J Hus. Also taking to the stage is Jorja Smith, the West Midlands-born UK garage star who was selected by music industry experts from a pool of more than 100 stars to receive this year’s Critics’ Choice Award.

THE CORONATION Tomorrow BBC1, 8pm

“I’VE seen one Coronation, and been the recipient in another, which is pretty remarkable,” says The Queen herself in this fascinatin­g documentar­y, which is being broadcast to celebrate the 65th anniversar­y of her ascension to the throne. She also looks back at her father, George VI’s coronation, which took place when she was 11 years old during a rare TV interview in which she recalls her memories of both occasions. Her Majesty is chatting to royal historian Alastair Bruce, who explains the significan­ce of the Crown Jewels and Royal Regalia which were used during the ceremony.

NEXT OF KIN Monday, ITV, 9pm

HAVING secretly got in touch with Danny in Lahore, Mona is approached by police counterter­rorism chief Vivien Barnes to travel to Pakistan and identify Kareem’s body. Despite her husband Guy’s resistance, Mona immediatel­y flies out and tries to make contact with her nephew, but when she absconds from a Lahore mortuary to attend a rendezvous with Danny, the GP’s search leads her to a remote part of the city and grave danger. Thriller, starring Archie Panjabi, Jack Davenport, Claire Skinner and Viveik Kalra.

INSIDE NO 9 Tuesday, BBC2 (times vary)

ACCORDING to one report, the three most stressful experience­s in life are the death of a spouse, divorce, and imprisonme­nt. Moving house is only 32nd on the list, but anything can happen in this tale involving the Handle Me Gently removals company and a nervous resident. Yes, it’s another gem from writers and stars Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith,

who receive fine support from Emilia Fox, Monica Dolan and Nick Moran (remember him from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels 20 years ago?).

KIRI Wednesday, Channel 4, 9pm

SOCIAL worker Miriam is put under increasing pressure to admit she is to blame for what happened to Kiri, while the young girl’s foster family of Jim, Alice and Si also find themselves thrown into the media spotlight. Elsewhere, Kiri’s grandfathe­r Tobi searches for his son, Nate, the prime suspect in the case, which sees him face up to some uncomforta­ble truths about his relationsh­ip with him. The drama continues, starring Sarah Lancashire.

DEATH IN PARADISE Thursday, BBC1, 9pm

FAMOUS thriller author Frank O’Toole is found stabbed through the heart after taking an early morning swim in the ocean. Suspicion soon falls on the victim’s wife Valerie, but with eyewitness­es confirming he was swimming alone, how could anyone, let alone the prime suspect, have got from the house to the sea without being detected? Away from the investigat­ion, Dwayne concentrat­es on finding a date for a voodoo love festival. Whodunit, guest starring Simon Callow, Imogen Stubbs, and Sian Gibson of Car Share fame.

WILL & GRACE Friday, Channel 5, 10pm

A MEDICAL check-up reveals Grace has possible signs of breast cancer, and she learns her emergency contact is not Will but her ex-husband Leo. Meanwhile, after losing out on a dog food commercial, Jack takes a temp job as drama teacher in the Bronx and despite her best efforts Karen befriends a 12-year-old girl.
