DREAMS COME TRUE FOR PANTOMIME TODDLERS

Reporter TODDLERS dressed as their favourite fairy tale characters were thrilled to meet Cinderella after being let down twice by a cancelled pantomime.

Children from Dudley preschool in North Tyneside were looking forward to watching Jack and the Beanstalk at Times Square pantodrome in Newcastle last month but were turned away at the doors.

The group of 50 children and parents had been given tickets but found out the pantomime had been postponed.

Their tickets were reschedule­d for the penultimat­e show on December 30 but when the group turned up they found the pop up pantodrome had been fenced off.

After organiser of the trip Kath Nixon spoke of their disappoint­ment, the Whitley Bay Playhouse stepped in to offer the children free tickets to Cinderella.
