Brain trust might not be well placed
A SILICONE Valley tech-billionaire is paying £7,000 to be killed so his brain can be preserved.
Sam Altman is one of 25 people on a waiting list at Nectome, a startup company that says they can store a person’s memories on a computer.
But the 32-year-old will have to die in a process similar to physician-assisted suicide, later embalming the brain so it can later be simulated onto a computer.
On the company’s website, it says the mission is to ‘preserve your brain well enough to keep all its memories intact: from that chapter of your favourite book to the feeling of cold winter air...’
It seems to me there is no better example of how a fool and their money are easily parted.
I wonder if there is a money back guarantee?
