Council tax hike doesn’t add up

IT’S rather infuriating to see an adult social care charge now being added to the council tax renewal of a 93-year-old person who is having to sell their property to self-fund care home costs.

No doubt it will go towards helping the council pay the costs of those who don’t own their own homes.
