Clock ticking for winner of Euromillions

-

THE owner of a £1m Euromillions ticket bought in Newcastle is yet to claim their life-changing prize.

The clock is ticking for the mystery local lottery winner who now has less than a week to come forward.

The last-ditch search is still on to find the owner of the winning ticket from the EuroMillions draw on December 19, last year.

With the winning Millionaire Maker code XMKV 63264, the ticket was bought in Newcastle.

It’s owner has until June 17 to make their claim.

And National Lottery players are now being urged to double-check their tickets one last time to make sure they are not missing out on their million.

EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires in every draw. For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward to claim the money.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
