Car washing firm raises cash for kids

A CAR washing company has cleaned up by making thousands of pounds – all for a good cause.

Wash Car, based in Gateshead, recently hosted a charity week in aid of Cash4kids, which helps less fortunate children in the area.

The company offered their top car wash to customers and asked for donations in return, with the week-long event raising £2,820.

Scott Mullen from Wash Car, which is on Derwenthaugh Road in Gateshead, said: “The event was a great success and got extremely busy throughout the week with our existing customer and new customer base.

“Thanks once again for your very kind support at our charity event, we appreciate your business and will always do our best to give you the best value and quality service.”
