A Christmas Carol Muppet style

-

HANDS up if Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas for you without at least one watch of Muppets’ Christmas Carol?

Now get ready to feel very old here as the film was made all the way back in 1992! Starring Michael Caine as Scrooge, it features a whole host of Muppets favourites as characters from Charles Dickens’ famous novel including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and Gonzo.

If you fancy singing along with The Muppets and Sir Michael you’ll want to get yourself along to Gosforth Civic Theatre in Newcastle on December 9 for two singalong screenings.

The screening, hosted by Chalk, will be preceded by a sock muppet making workshop where you can craft your very own Muppet to help you sing along.

You can also pose in our Muppet photo booth, enter the Christmas jumper contest and add a Muppet to the drawing wall. Screenings will be at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Tickets from the Chalk website, Children - £8, Adults - £6, babies (under 12 months) - free.
