APPOINTMENTS

The Rev Matthew Frederick James Allen, Curate in the benefice of St Thomas Kendal, and the benefice of Crook (held in plurality) (Carlisle), has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of Accrington Christ Church and thus Minister of the Trinity Community Church Local Ecumenical Partnership (Blackburn).

The Rev Kelly Ann Betteridge, curate at Nuneaton (Coventry), has been appointed to the Vicarage of Nuneaton (Coventry).

The Rev Robert Gary Birchall, Incumbent, St James Burnopfield (Durham); Area Dean of Lanchester (Durham), to be Vicar, Boldmere, St Michael (Birmingham).

The Rev Simon Charles Eagle Cake, at present Curate at St John’s Hebburn and Christ Church, Jarrow (Durham), has been appointed Team Vicar of Egremont and Haile Team Ministry and Chaplain to the West Cumberland Hospital (Carlisle).

The Rev Denise Eileen Critchell, has been given Permission to Officiate in the Diocese of Canterbury for three years with effect from 28 February 2014.

The Rev Alessandra Di Chiara, Remaining as Priest in Charge of the parish of Millbrook St James in the Deanery of Mottram, has also been appointed Priest-in-Charge of the parish of All Saints, Micklehurst (Chester).

The Rev Julia Foster, Assistant Curate at North Waltham and Steventon and Ashe and Deane, has been appointed Assistant Area Dean in addition to her other duties (Winchester). The Rev Mrs Janice Karen Brenda Fowler, In addition to having Permission to Officiate in the Diocese she has been appointed as part-time Chaplain to HMP Highpoint and Chaplain to Havebury Housing Partnership (St Edmundsbury and Ipswich).

The Rev Veronica Hydon, To be Honorary Canon of the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary at Chester from 18 March 2014 (Chester).

The Rev Kelvin Inglis, Vicar of Whitchurch with Tufton and Litchfield, has been appointed Area Dean of Whitchurch in addition to his other duties (Winchester).

The Rev David Sargent, Team Rector of the Penrith with Newton Reigny and Plumpton Wall Team Ministry (Carlisle), has been appointed Rural Dean of Penrith with effect from 1 January 2014.
