RETIREMENTS & RESIGNATIONS

The Rev Paul Bromiley, Master of Wyggeston’s Hospital will be retiring on 30 June 2014 (Leicester).

The Rev John Michael Cook, Vicar of St John Workington (Carlisle), is to retire with effect from 31 March 2014.

The Rev Victor John Hopkins, Honorary Assistant Curate in the benefice of Sedbergh, Cautley and Garsdale (Carlisle), has resigned with effect from the 10th March 2014.

The Rev Canon Anne Horton Is retiring as Canon of Leicester Cathedral. Anne has been appointed as Canon Emeritus.

The Rev Anne Samuels, Incumbent of Higher Bebington, Christ Church in the Deanery of Wirral North and Honorary Canon of the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the Diocese of Chester, with effect from 5 September 2014. The Rev Canon Wendy Elizabeth Sanders, Team Rector of the benefice of the Cockermouth Area Team (Carlisle), is to retire with effect from 2 May 2014. The Rev David Sidney Simon, Non-Stipendiary Minister in the Cartmel Peninsula Team Ministry, and Diocesan Officer for Non-Stipendiary Ministry (Carlisle), is to retire with effect from 31 March 2014. The Rev Richard Tuckwell, Incumbent of Alvanley and Manley, St John in the Deanery of Frodsham, to retire with effect from 30 April 2014 (Chester).

The Rev Canon Gary Wemyss, Vicar in the benefice of Egton-cum-Newland, and Lowick and Colton (Carlisle), has retired with effect from 28 February 2014.
