SOUTHWARK:

Southwark Cathedral will host the Rev Mpho Tutu on Friday 30 May to discuss her book The Book of Forgiving, which she wrote with her father, Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The evening, which is Mpho Tutu’s only London appearance, will be chaired by Canon Missioner of Southwark Cathedral Stephen Hance, who said: “Mpho and Desmond Tutu have walked the way of forgiveness over a long period of time, and now they have shared their story with us in their practical and inspiring book.” The Tutus write about uniting the world by releasing resentment and realizing we can forgive while still pursuing justice. Tickets cost £10 from the Cathedral Shop, or are available through Eventbrite (plus a £1.25 booking fee).
