Jean is guest of honour at school reunion with pupils 60 years on

When Jean Thomson waved off her primary school pupils at Montrose’s “Little Academy” she could not have thought that 60 years later they would be together again.

A reunion of pupils from the 1950s, organised by Muriel Hardy, nee Alexander, brought together a gathering of 40 former pupils and their partners from throughout the UK and from as far afield as Colorado in the United States.

Many of the old chums celebrate their 70th birthdays this year.
