Bell Rock Music Festival

The 2016 Bell Rock Music Festival, previously known as the Bell Rock Blues Festival, takes place over 14 venues this weekend.

It’s a new style festival for this year having dropped the blues-only title to include a more diverse range of music to suit all styles, although there will still be a number of blues bands attending again this year.

Many of the venues from last year are also under new ownership so it’s all change across the board.

More than 30 bands will play over the weekend, many of them regular performers at the festival and some travelling from across the country for the weekend.

Among the highlights will be Doctor Brown and the Groove Cats, who are coming from down south, along with Scots stalwarts Buick 55s, Al Hughes, Junkyard Dogs, KWAK and Smokehouse, to name just a few.
