Cases heard at sheriff court

Kieran Middleton, 24, of Glenogil Drive, Arbroath, admitted driving on various roads in and around Arbroath between June 5 and 9 without insurance or a licence.

He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop following an accident on June 5, and failing to provide his details to police.

Sheriff Gregor Murray continued the case until tomorrow, when Middleton has other matters calling.

Also at Forfar, Lisa Walker, 22, of West Hemming Street, Letham, was fined £200 after admitting assaulting a man at a house in Threewells Drive, Forfar, on September 4.
