Nazareth fans flock to Fife for concert

Fans of legendary rock band Nazareth have been gathering in Dunfermline ahead of the band’s homecoming concert tonight.

The gig at the Glen Pavilion promises to be a poignant occasion following the recent death of the band’s long-time roadie, Dunfermline man Robert Kennedy.

The concert will also see Carl Sentance in the role of frontman following the retirement for health reasons of founder member Dan McCafferty in 2013.

The only remaining member of the original line-up from the late 1960s is bass player Pete Agnew, who recently turned 70 but shows no sign of slowing down.
