Trading from Caledonian Marts

Caledonian Marts Ltd, Stirling, had forward 1,760 prime hoggets, ewes and tups yesterday. Top price of the day went to D and J McKerrow, Nochnary, Freuchie, for a pen of four Texel hoggets at £101.

Top pence per kilo came from WM Bell and Son, Craigend, Perth, at 239ppkg (41kg at £98).
