INTRODUCING MINI BEASTS AT DUNDEE SCIENCE CENTRE

-

As temperatures begin to climb, so do a rather different group of visitors settling into Dundee Science Centre this season …. mini beasts!

Their fascinating world has been unearthed at Dundee Science Centre, with a host of family-friendly, creepy crawly activities running through to Monday 29th May.

‘Introducing Mini Beasts’ will let visitors meet and find out about a variety of supersized creepy crawlies, such as giant snails, cockroaches and millipedes, and there’s lots of fun on offer for families to experience and participate in both the Mini Beasts and Bee shows. Meanwhile the early years audience will get a real buzz out of the Bee Bot activities.

Calum McAndrew, Exhibition and Community Engagement Officer said, “As the weather picks up, many of us will be spending more time outdoors, whether that’s in our own gardens, local parks or beaches. There are millions of mini beasts everywhere we go but we are often oblivious to them – these activities are a chance to get a close-up look at them going about their daily business and to learn about their little lives, and how important they are on a greater scale.” All activities run regularly, between 10am and 5pm, daily.
