Robbie hopes Joshua stays strong in big fight

Robbie Williams has backed Anthony Joshua to triumph against Wladimir Klitshsko for the World Heavyweight title – as his new music video shows the singer, pictured, don boxing gloves to fight himself in the ring.

The video for The Heavy Entertainment Show, the title track from the former Take That star’s latest album, shows the singer sporting gloves bearing his initials and a sequinned robe with National Treasure emblazoned across the back.

The shirtless singer can then be seen throwing punches as he fights himself in the ring before one of them delivers a knockout blow and he hits the canvas.

The video will be shown at Joshua’s fight at Wembley Stadium tomorrow – while Williams will be watching the fight from Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife Ayda and their two children.

He said: “I’m looking forward to the boxing fight of the year and will be watching from LA. Good luck AJ.”
