Spring lambs (17) to 250ppk from R Wardrope & Son, East Coates for a 42kg Texel X; and £115 for four 46.5kg Suffolk X from Balhelvie, Newburgh.

Prime hoggets (1,333) to 251p from Cuiltburn for a pen of 41.5kg Beltex X; and £107 also from Cuiltburn for 43kg Beltexes.

Overall sale average for 1,333 sold 176.3p(+10p).

Heavy ewes (176) averaged £71.17, selling to £121 for a Texel from Knockhill, Strathkinn­es.

Export ewes (47) averaged £40.34.
