GROVE MEN DISAPPOINT Grove Menzieshill disappointed in their concluding game in the EuroHockey Club Trophy in Russia, losing 4-0 to hosts Dinamo Elektrostal to finish fourth overall, writes our men’s hockey correspondent.

Grove Menzieshill won their 7th/8th play-off at the EuroHockey Club Trophy in Munich, writes our women’s hockey correspondent.

They defeated Amsicora of Italy 3-2 thanks to Hanna McKie, Jenny Walls and Susan Hamilton.

Munich beat Campo Madrid 1-0 in the finals.

Meanwhile, at the EuroHockey Club Challenge II in Vienna Edinburgh University defeated the locals from Arminen to win both the title and promotion in the shoot-out. Geneva were also promoted to Challenge I.
