Medieval finale rounds off Monifieth Gala Week

The annual Monifieth Gala Week was brought to a medieval close yesterday afternoon.

For the first time this year, visitors were invited into local clubs and buildings as part of a doors open programme, including Invertay House and St Bride’s Church. Favourites the Knights of Monymusk recreated medieval battles, resplendent in shining armour, leather boots, broadswords sheathed on belts and pikes protruding from their arms.
