Mearns groups have chance to speak up for grant money

Mearns groups looking for a small injection of cash have been invited to pitch their ideas and projects at next month’s Kincardineshire Development Partnership Community Cash event.

The participatory budgeting scheme allows local groups to give a five-minute talk about their goals, what they are trying to achieve and why they need the grant.

One grant will be awarded to the group voted for by the guests of the evening, who will be members of the community.

The next event is on Tuesday July 4 at the Grassic Gibbon Centre in Arbuthnott.
