Crowds wowed by three nights of Hairspray at Forfar Academy
An Angus school’s production of a Broadway classic came to an end at the weekend.
Forfar Academy staged a three-night run of 1960s-era musical Hairspray in its new lecture theatre at the community campus.
Each of the three nights was a sell-out, and attendees commented on the excellent production values and performances.
Head teacher Melvyn Lynch praised the efforts of 200 pupils and staff as a “wonderful start” to shows at the campus.
