Wartime medals stolen

Second World War medals, a pearl necklace and a full dress kilt are among a number of items stolen from a home in Aberdeen.

The break-in happened between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon in the Seafield area. Numerous items of jewellery worth a fourfigure sum were taken, including a heart-shaped green stone necklace with a naval reference
