BRECHIN:
An celebration of dance will take place at Brechin Community Campus from 11am-4pm on July 22, and will include ballroom and Latin dance demonstrations by Kim Devine and others.
There will be stalls, bouncy castles, line dancing, Zuglu drummers and special guests Beauty and the Beast.
Entry is free.
ARBROATH:
Hospitalfield House is opening its gardens on Saturday from 2-5pm
The walled gardens have been cultivated from the early medieval period, from the medicinal and the orchard to the Victorian passion for collecting ferns.
Admission is £4, and accompanied children are free.
Money raised will go to the Hospitalfield Trust and Scotland’s Gardens designated charities with details at scotlandsgardens.org.
BARRY:
Members of Barry Church Guild raised £179 with their first afternoon tea of the summer in the Church Hall.
The next afternoon tea is planned for July 27 from 2-4pm. Admission costs £2.
Other dates for the summer are August 31 and September 28.
ARBROATH:
A pop-up shop run by Arbroath Lifeboat Guild raised almost £2,400.
The guild has thanked all who supported the venture and the landlord for use of the premises.
